This lovely shabby chair was only two bucks at a yard sale last summer, and I cannot pass by a chair like this one without looking at its price.. Why chairs? I don't know really, just something about old chairs, I can't have too many of them.. My grandparents might have used something like these.. Don't you just love this pillow? It's part of my first giveaway winnings Ever !! From my fab blog friend, Laura at Decor to Adore.. Love this photo.. It was taken in our old yard ( we have since moved about one mile away ) with flowerbeds in the background, isn't that purple astible just gorgeous !!!

Thriftin’ Thursday…
An old mailbox that hubby saved from going into the dumpster.. It is soo heavy and the whole front side opens.. (a bit dirty on the inside.. What’s been living in here?)
Thrift shoppe finds.. An old jar (without a lid) A vintage (and very large) salt shaker, a small lamp and a tiny glass salt/pepper set.. Even the tops of these are glass.. love them.. Click on the photo to see how amazing thrift shoppe prices are.. well sometimes.. : )
This is an old mailbox we found some time ago. I had plans of painting it.. Donna Dewberry’s One Stroke Painting flowers of course.. I do like it just as it is.. But it is rusting and painting it would highlight that adorable scalloped edge on the lid.. Hmmm… I’ll let ya know how it turns out.. Thanks so much for stopping by.. Happy thriftin’…

It is always a pleasure to find Vintage Dresser Scarves and Tea Towels.. Here are a few we have found at yard sales and thrift stores.. How am I going to use them? How about in a vintage apron..
Like this one.. I made this lovely little number from a vintage pillowcase, some pink polka dot fabric and a little bit of tulle.. And I am soo excited to start on the next one.. lol .. Maybe something in blue.. Hmmm..

This week's thrift goodies..
This plant book is an awesome addition to our Libriary.. The chicken is a measuring spoon set holder, but sadly missing its spoons.. Love the set of 25th Anniversary cups..
Aren't these salt shakers the sweetest? They are so very heavy to be so small.. The bottoms are made of glass and the tops are a heavy cast metal.. Love them.. Just had to have this oversized blue check cup.. It would make a great soup cup..
This little heart is made of glass.. Not sure how I will use it yet.. Too small for a paperweight..Hmmm..
A glass canister jar, a small pitcher and a pair of Jack Daniel's shot glasses.. And yes I did find a couple of aprons that I haven't taken photos of yet, so I will post them later.. There are some amazing thift stores out there, soo get out there and Thrift people.. You will enjoy it...
